This research aimed to investigate the relationships among Cultural Awareness, Communication Apprehension, and Speaking Proficiency among students. This study employed a quantitative correlational research design using questionnaires and students’ speaking scores as the instruments. The data were analyzed using SPSS through normality, homogeneity, linearity, heteroscedasticity, and Spearman’s Rank-Order Correlation tests. The findings showed a very weak relationship between Cultural Awareness and Speaking Proficiency (r = -0.028; Sig. = 0.793) and between Communication Apprehension and Speaking Proficiency (r = 0.095; Sig. = 0.367). The results indicated that Cultural Awareness and Communication Apprehension weakly correlate with students’ Speaking Proficiency, which may be affected more by other factors such as vocabulary mastery, confidence, motivation, and speaking practice. In conclusion, Cultural Awareness and Communication Apprehension were not significant correlate with Speaking Proficiency.
